Police say a man dressed as Santa Claus walked into a mall in Santa Monica, Calif., last week and was chased by a group of about a dozen children playing in the snow, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The Santa Monica Police Department says in a press release that the man, who hasn't been identified, got out of his car and ran toward the children, who ran back into the mall.
He was chased by one of the kids, who tackled him and held him down until the other kids could help him get out of the car.
The other kids helped him get out of the car and into the Santa Monica Police Department, where he was taken into custody.
The Santa Monica Police Department said in a Facebook post Monday that the man had been arrested and that no children were hurt in the incident.
